Are you looking for a Las Vegas hotel that offers a spectacular view? Then be sure to check out the Stratosphere, a hotel and casino that towers over the famous Las Vegas Strip. Located at the south end of the Strip, the Stratosphere is known as the tallest structure west of the Mississippi River. Constructed in 1996, the tower stands at nearly 1,200 feet tall.

The Stratosphere features more than 2,000 rooms which are clean, comfortable and reasonably priced. Because the hotel offers so many affordable options, it can be a great place to stay if you are traveling on a fairly tight budget or just saving up for all night blackjack games. Because of its location at the downtown end of the Strip, however, you should be willing to walk a mile or two in order to get to the main action, events and shopping.
Enjoy dinner at the Top of the World Restaurant in the Stratosphere. The room slowly revolves as you eat, offering a changing view of Las Vegas as you eat your meal. Other dining options at the Stratosphere Hotel include The Courtyard Buffet, Fellini's at Stratosphere, Lucky's Café, The Crazy Armadillo Tex-Mex Grill & Oyster Bar and the Tango Bar Grill.
You also shouldn't forget to visit the world-class VIP section they have where you can enjoy live bands, exclusively served food and a wine bar that's top notch. Inside the VIP lounge, guests indulge in that Vegas atmosphere but in a more private setting. They also showcase an over the top poker room where you can access the video poker games being held every other hour, only for the VIPs of course!
After dinner, check out the budget-priced "Viva Las Vegas" show that is priced at just $12. With most show tickets costing $100 or more, this offers great entertainment value for the budget traveler. If you are tired of the scene on the Strip, you can also make a quick trip a few blocks away to the famous Fremont Street, where just walking up and down the avenue offers affordable entertainment value.
The Stratosphere Las Vegas Hotel offers a great place to stay and a budget-friendly price. While the hotel is located at the far end of the Strip, it can be the ideal option for anyone who wants to enjoy the fast-paced nightlife but still have a quiet place to spend the night.
