New Travel Guide for Ladies with “Confidence, Class, and Style”

The Red Hat Society Travel Guide: Hitting the Road with Confidence, Class, and Style (Thomas Nelson, published in April 2008, US$16.99), by Cynthia Glidewell, is an inspirational, motivatating reference of 336 pages for seasoned ladies who want to become savvy, safe travelers, and have some signature “Red Hat” fun doing it. You guessed it …. the author is a member of the Red Hat Society, “a global society of woman approaching the age of 50 or beyond that connects and supports women in their pursuit of Fun, Friendship, Freedom and Fulfillment.”

For the past six years, Glidewell has traveled extensively throughout the US and worldwide as a healthcare and life sciences consultant. Her quest to visit all 50 United States by age 50 is reflected in this guidebook’s bonus city profiles covering 20 top US destinations. Woven throughout the book, first-person accounts of Red Hat experiences add an element of fun in the telling, but here is also a serious tool for women on the move …. as well as a great birthday or Christmas present!

The Red Hat Society Travel Guide covers all of the basic travel tips that experienced travelers take for granted but that might be intimidating for those who are traveling alone, or with their girlfriends. From time and money-saving ideas, to safety tips, packing and shopping plans, any potential Red Hat-style traveler will be well-prepared for years of unique and exciting journeys ahead. This publication is also available on Kindle.
